What Are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are a long-lasting solution for replacing missing teeth. Made from biocompatible titanium, the implant acts as an artificial tooth root that’s placed into the jawbone, where it naturally fuses with the bone over time. This helps maintain healthy bone structure and prevents deterioration. Once the implant is securely in place, it supports a custom-made restoration—such as a crown, bridge, or denture—that looks and functions just like a natural tooth. Whether you’re replacing one tooth or several, dental implants offer a strong, stable, and natural-looking result.

Implant Bridges

Unlike traditional bridges that are anchored over natural teeth, implant bridges are supported by two implant roots, placed on either end. With an implant supported bridge, Dr. Stone can help you replace up to three to four adjacent teeth at once.

Overdentures and All-On-4®

Dental implants can also be used to stabilize a denture or partial denture. Dental implants are strategically placed at points along your jaw, and your denture is designed to snap onto them. Implant supported dentures can be removable or permanently anchored in place. They offer a more stable fit while also keeping your bone healthy, which promotes the longevity of your appliance.
