Children’s Dentistry

At our family dental practice, we welcome children of all ages—so there’s no need to visit multiple offices for your child’s dental care. Most pediatric needs can be comfortably managed right here, under one roof.

Your child’s comfort is always a top priority. Dr. Stone takes the time to help young patients feel at ease in the dental chair, creating positive experiences that build lifelong confidence in dental visits. Believing that parents are essential partners in oral health, Dr. Stone also works closely with families—offering guidance on brushing techniques, nutrition, and your child’s overall dental development.

What To Expect

At Smile Street Dental, we make every visit comfortable and fun for kids. Our friendly team uses gentle care, kid-friendly explanations, and plenty of encouragement to help little ones feel at ease. Typically we will examine the mouth, go over tooth brushing, and provide an age-appropriate dental cleaning. From cleanings to checkups, we focus on building healthy habits—and making sure every child leaves with a big smile.

Our pediatric dental services include:

Routine check-ups help us monitor your child’s smile so that they can avoid complications later on. Most children benefit from dental check-ups every six months. We begin cleaning your little one’s teeth as soon as they feel comfortable with the procedure. This process helps to remove the excess plaque and bacteria that cause issues like tooth decay and cavities. It is our top priority that your child feels completely relaxed in the dental chair, so we will never proceed with any procedure until they are ready.

High definition digital x-rays allow us to monitor your child’s oral and tooth development and eruption pattern, and to screen for cavities. This gives us the advantage of detecting decay in its earliest stages, so children don’t have to endure complex dental procedures to restore their teeth and maintain their oral health.

Professional fluoride treatments encourage strong tooth development and help your child avoid cavities later on. Applying fluoride is a quick procedure that can be combined with your little one’s routine six-month cleanings.

Dental sealants guard teeth against tooth decay by placing protective coatings over the deep pits and grooves of back molars. We notice fewer cavities in children with sealants as opposed to those without.

Happy Patients Make Us Smile

"I’ve been going to this office for several years. Renee is so great and does an amazing job. Cathy, at the front desk, is always nice and super helpful. I now bring my young daughters here. Even though we moved, it is worth the 35-minute drive!"

- Deanna W.
"I’ve been a client for over 30 years—and if that doesn’t show how much I love this team. When Dr. Aiello retired, I was devastated—I didn’t think anyone could fill his shoes. But Dr. Stone stepped in and hasn’t missed a beat. I couldn’t be more impressed. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!"

- Anna L.
